Sources of information & credits

Information technology has made the access to information easy and quick. As a result, this atlas is prepared completely from the information available in the public domain and substantial information is taken from respective websites. The websites were accessed repeatedly at different times, therefore it may not be possible to provide the date of access, nevertheless the URLs of the websites are mentioned for each organisation. The idea of this atlas is to highlight spatial and temporal distribution for informed decision-making at policy or planner level and to act as a source of knowledge for academicians and researchers. Therefore the maps are indicative and notional only. Though every care has been taken to list all sources of information, responsibility for any missing credit entirely lies with the authors. We will be grateful to discerning readers for informing us.
